Vintage papers and ephemera candy from Zarah

Zarah has some blog candy this time! Look at at his:

Mmmmm... Lots of little treasures in there!

Home sick

I've been home sick the last two days. Yesterday was "wasted" with resting and sleeping on the couch, but today I scrapped:

This is for Pencil Lines' sketch #118.
The snakes were cut from an old grade school text book and enhanced with some Stickles. The photo is from 2000 when DH and I got to stop, a few times actually, in Vietnam. Love, love, love Vietnamese food! It's even better than Thai!
The wine however, is a curiosity, at least for tourists. For the locals it's a fix-it-all medicine. I didn't try any, but DH was tricked into it. Blech!!!

And even more candy!

I think I've mentioned before how good Zarah is at finding these things. There are so many great give-aways around and all you have to do usually is put up a photo and a link to whoever is giving away the candy and you're in!
So here's another great one:

The generous blogger this time is Bev.
Just look at all that stuff! Oh the things that can be created with this loot...!

Another Very Vintage LO =)

I just finished this LO that I made for Zarah's challenge blog, and I have to say I'm quite happy with it! I used only KIT 5, Very Vintage, except for the Dymo labels. I just find this kit so versatile! And the faux leather is sooo much fun to cut!

Don't you just love it when others share?

Rachel is offering up this lovely blog candy! Lots of awesome goodies to be won.

Welcome 2009, Vintage book paper blog candy

I just put up some vintage book papers in my store for those of you who like to use those...

If you're one of those who like to use these, feel free to enter for this blog candy! Just link to my blog and to my store and leave me a comment that you did so. Enter by January 17th, winner will be announced on the 18th. Anyone can enter, I will ship anywhere.

I made a LO (using KIT 5 Very Vintage)for Pencil Lines again, it's been quite a while...

And putting that square punch to good use again,(SOOO wish I had an XL Round 'n round Squeeze punch!!!)here's a LO I did for FiskarsCrafts:

The squares are all cut from misc. Christmas cards I've received over the last 8 or so years. I'm a hoarder and never throw cards or letters out. Unfortunately! Wish I could. This was the only way I could minimize the ever growing pile of cards.

I also decided to do "Project 365" this year to make myself be better about taking photos of everyday moments. Crossing my fingers for myself...
